Really bad Bug!

Hello,

I have been merging profiles and now I believe at you have a Bug.

See this tree view:

That's a never-ending job to merge profiles of this part of family tree.

 

I think at this is caused for DNA managers (Launo Hirsimaki)

You can find those links of managers when merging those profiles.

  Hello Petri

  Yes I can see there are many duplicates near there!

  Take a look again now.

  We have a tool that I was able to use to easily merge those duplicates together that are from March of this year.  I tried to find the youngest and merge their duplicates all the way back..  I may have missed some, and I only merged the ones that I knew I could see matched.  I did see some that looked similar to an existing branch, but I think I saw a discrepancy or two so I did not touch those.  Take a look at those.  There still me be some near these branches that I missed, but it is much cleaner now.

  Hello John, 

  I notice at somebody have been working with this issue. :)

  There is still lot of dupes... I can merge and I know how to do it but there is lot of work.

  How is it possible to be born so many mergers and how is it possible to be "born " profiles trough ysearch in March? ;)

  I have been merged more than 200 profiles, and I do not want vainly to do it again..
  

  Have you checked those links that you can find in my previous post?

  Tomorrow I will look this family tree and find faults.

  Now I must go to see my enforced nightmares..

  Hello Petri

  If you see any that have duplicate ancestors going back for generations we can potentially help take care of that easier.  Check to see if there are any discrepancies with any of the ancestors though.

  The profiles with links to mitosearch and YSearch are part of the DNA integration with FamilyTreeDNA.  Have you taken a DNA test through FamiliyTreeDNA? If, so you can now click on the "DNA" tab on your Geni profile and link it to your Geni profile.

  Hello John,

  This was a huge job.. now I see end of this merging job.

  I have been make over 500 merging.. maybe there is 100 left.

  This western part of Finland is uncontrolled in contrast to Eastern Finland, we have a coordinated operation..

  There they are made after 2009 several family trees, without understanding wich is merging and how to find opportunity to merge.

  Life goes on! :)

  We have too few curators in Finland..

   

  I have sent request twice to become Geni curator :)

  On the first time I had been in less than one year of Geni user...

  Now the second request, I have not received any reply...

   

  Name Lars Bertel Söderström is familiar to me but I am almost daily cooperation with Reijo Savola.

  Unfortunately, he is busy with the Genin's largest project, Suojärvi - Суоярви

  This case is still ongoing, I need to wait for users to accept the my request for cooperation or request to be manager of profile.

  Merging of this part of family tree is close to complete.. :)
