When I try to click on someone associated with my family name I get an ad to join geni for free until Oct. 4/ I already belong. I don't want to join but even when I click on "cancel" I can't get rid of it. I don't want to join something I already belong to, and I just want to contact all the people in the list associated with my family name.

Muammar Ghadafi ISHAK I'm not sure which page are you on when you tried to click on that profile.
I do remember some access to certain profile is not allowed unless you are registered as a Pro user. A normal user will not able to access those profiles.
For example if you performed search for a certain name, some of the profiles from the search result will not be able to be viewed.
