I find that when I search the names of my children without logging in, their names pop up with their relationships to family members with specifc names. This is worrisome. Can a geni webmaster correct this? The names of living family members should not be available to the casual searcher and how they are related to others. It should read private, whether the living individuals marked the private option or not.  Please advise. 

All living individuals in my tree should be made private as you have indicated in your website tutorial.

  Living profiles are private unless an invitation is accepted and they become Geni members, at which point, they take control of their own privacy.  By default, a Geni member's name is searchable.  Since all your children have Geni accounts, they'll need to manage their privacy if they want it to be more restrictive.

  In particular, there is this setting under permissions: 

  https://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions/

  Uncheck "Let the public search for me (profile privacy settings apply)".

  Since all of you are Geni members, with exception of your husband, you'll see the family members with names that have these similar permissions.

  As a side note, your sister has a duplicate tree on Geni, which we should probably merge into your existing tree. :)
