Having used Geni Basic for years, I now can't seem to add new family members to my Tree

As the title says - I click on the 'add son' or 'add brother' box but nothing happens despite having used Geni successfully for years (including on my current PC, a Mac, for 2 years). 

Does anyone know why this is, and what I can do?

  Hi Giles, can you please try clearing your browser cookies? You can clear your Geni cookies by clicking on this link https://www.geni.com/login/clear_cookies

  If you are still experiencing this issue, then please let us know what browser/version you are using and what type of device.

  I cleared the cache but it has had no effect.

  I am using an iMac with an M1 chip running macOS Sequoia 15.6

  The browser is Safari Version 18.6 (20621.3.11.11.3)

  Hi Giles, are you using a VPN? Some users who have reported the same issue found that by turning off their VPN, they were able to add profiles to the tree once again. If you are using a VPN, can you please try turning it off?

  Thanks for the suggestion (turning off VPN)...unfortunately it doesn't make any difference. 

  I have managed to add more people by downloading and using (just for Geni!) a new, different browser - so it doesn't work on Safari, but DOES when using 'DuckDuckGo' as my browser. Phew!
