There are smart matches that are reported to me but I can't confirm them. I click on the link to the list of matches for a certain person, I get to the list, but the list lacks the confirmation buttons. Any ideas out there?

Bjørn P. Brox It could be that someone have rejected them. Smart matches are for many (me included) just annoying because confirmed smart matches are way too dominating on Geni profiles, of no usage, and even worse when confirmed as sources something MyHeritage profiles definitely is not, and usually hiding real sources on the profiles when they are too many.
My advice: If your Geni profile is better quality then the smart match, just ignore it, if not: update the Geni profile (assuming that the information is sourced), - and then ignore the smart match... -
Vl Beck l Smart Match is not working at all

I submitted this a few days ago. I even called My Heritage today to see if it was from their side that was causing the problem. Now the smart Records isn't working right either.
I can work on stuff from the My Heritage side no problem. But if I go into Geni and click on any of the Smart buttons they won't work at all. The guy from My Heritage said he would contact the techs to fix it. So hopefully between here and my phone call, they will come to the bottom of the problem. Or maybe with all of us complaining someone will listen.

Niclas Carlenius Today it's not working for me either (and I have Geni Pro and MyHeritage data subscription). A few days ago it was working fine. Today if I confirm, it automatically unselects as unconfirmed after a second or two. I tried different browsers and also cleared my cache, and that doesn't help.

Will Chapman (Vol. Curator) Me too. In fact, in my experience, it is getting worse. A couple of days ago selecting Confirm or Reject would hold for 3-4 seconds; today any selection will hold for less than a second.

Vl Beck I just wish My Heritage and geni talked better especially since we are forced to pay for both to become pro. Like when you update the smart /records with the buttons it should update your age on My Heritage. I have spent 2 days now trying to update the My Heritage side of my tree. Dates are wrong or info is completely wrong and they have to be fixed. I still can't merge the multiple siblings or other dups.
