for some reason the details of my living relatives, including my underage kids are visible to other members and to MyHeritage members

how can this be fixed?

  On Geni, your children are only visible within your family group.  See https://www.geni.com/company/privacy

  The Geni users within your family might however be more visible, depending on their personal setting.

  You also have a setting where you can hide public profiles from MyHeritage SuperSearch  https://www.geni.com/account_settings/managed_profiles
