Estimation is based on years provided on birth and death years on surrounding profiles.
Baptism date is probably not classified as a good input for birth year estimation, simply because you can be baptized at any age.
Sure, but if you have no other dates, showing baptism is extremely helpful, especially when for example fathers and sons are called William and John.
The system should not do that, but you are free to do that yourself. I enter the baptism date myself as birth date if baptism date is the only date I have and know that it was in an area and time period where children had to be baptized within a short period after birth.
In later periods I cannot, because I have often found baptism short before marriage or confirmation because it was required.

However I’ve not saying the baptism date should be used as the date of birth.
Just that where the date of birth isn’t provided, other provided dates should be shown on the overview page.
