Trying to remove my ex, we had no kids, it's awful seeing him on my tree. I get to the relationships area, click next to his name to "remove" him, but then the actual "remove" button does not light up or allow me to remove him. Help!

Did you get any help? I have the same issue with cancel button for subscription. When I'm pressing it - doing nothing. I tried to contact 'help' via email which is on the help center but it seems like there is nobody to help. So stressful situation.

Anna Pisarek How bad is that? Every service should have Free Customer Support ( not paid) even if it`for a basic account. I just need to know if basic account is free? because they requested payment details to open this basic account ...???

Asmah Someone must have connected or change some guy who is not my husband but has the same name as my husband. Now it looks like I am married to a married man and our children combined. I tried so hard to remove him from my profile but like you said the remove button is nonfunctional. Feeling so helpless :(

Surely geni needs us basic users to build their database to make them a powerhouse for genealogy so why are we blocked from reporting a problem???

Matthijs Spollu Yes there is diference between PRO and basic. And the the basic users are not blocked but the Geni staff first and quickest responses are to the paying customers. So they trained Curators and give them the tools to solve the most common problems. The way to report problems is or post it here and hope a pro user or curator has the same problem. Or contact a a Curator directly if it is a personal problem.
The way is not blocked. It is only longer.
