I have noticed the it may be beneficial to all Geni users to add an additional option while creating a new profile. As there is only a "male" or "female" option been offered to indicate the kids gender. But what about the relatively regular occurrence when we actually do NOT know the gender of that child? Often we know that our distant relative "has 2 children" - well, we still must include these children into our tree but at present we're unable to accommodate it without having such option. Regards. Jeroen M.W. van Dijk There is the option unknown as far as I know. Just see [https://www.geni.com/people/Test-Child/6000000010609106763]
Try to add a the fact to this isolated tree a distante relative with two children with unknown gender.

Jeroen M.W. van Dijk Sorry that is a locked tree, but it shows that unknown is an option.
[[https://www.geni.com/people/Dummie-1-Test/6000000073966641950]] is an open tree that you can use to test things out. If it is not working just message the manager, that is me and I will add you as a co-manager. As long as you don't connect it to the real tree you can do as you want to do.
