Cynthia Maria Snabilié I have a similar problem. The field to invite someone is no longer there.
-
Louis Cabri I think I have figured out the problem. I was unable to invite someone on the tree in the slot on the small rectangle for that person, but when I opened the profile I was able to invite in that setting. I think this is a bug.

Cynthia Maria Snabilié There is a different place now where you can add the email.
It's on the home page, section: tree completeness. Unfortunately my niece is not yet 16 so i'm not allowed to add her email.

Jeroen M.W. van Dijk If there is another way to the same thing then is called a feature. Please don't call it a bug if the software is doing unwanted things. Ofcourse I'm not a bug or feature expert. I'm just posting a reaction. So if a unwanted change, that is also good to discuse it here.

Louis Cabri I am no expert either, but since the slot in the rectangle shows an envelope and the word invite. Since this does not work it is a bug to my eyes.
Interesting there has been more comments on this matter than on the two recent Discussions I started to get feedback from managers regarding details on people I have updated or corrected. Nil whatsoever!

Geni Support Team Hi Mignon,
It sounds like you may be trying to invite your relative from the tree. Is that correct? Can you let us know if you are using the Flash tree or the new HTML tree?

Geni Support Team Hi Mignon, I was just able to confirm that it is a bug in the HTML tree. We've forwarded this to our engineers.

Jeroen M.W. van Dijk I would not call that a bug, it is human error, Engineers are only human. A mistake can happen. I hope the engineers will correct it soon.
A bug in a tree that must be good source of a bad programmers joke. And there you have the joke. :)
