My display names are a combination of English and Chinese names, e.g., "ER Chiang Kai 余昌锴".
They display fine in the Tree view. However, when I tried printing it with the Basic Family Tree printing option, the Chinese characters are omitted. Seems like a bug?

What kind of printer (one that require that you have chinese fonts) and how do you print??
Yes, names in other languages are typically not printed. But what I did was to put everything in the Display Name field. All the Display Name characters are printed as is, except for the non-latin characters.
This happens too when I print to PDF. So it's independent of the printer.
