Descendant Report never stops

I went to a WEB page and did a Descendant Report.

First I used Firefox and it went into forever loop. So I switched to Chrome and the results were basically the same.

I get a box with 20 in it and some rotating spokes which rotate forever.

With Firefox I can click on the Export PDF button and it did something. I was also able to scroll down the page and look at the Descendants.

With Chrome I could not click on the Export PDF button and I could not scroll down and look at the accumulated Report on the WEB page.

  The problem could be a loop in the database (like a son being the father of his father). So you might see if there are any tree conflicts in your tree. Another problem could be the available memory in your browser for that page or how busy it was at that moment for Geni (there have been some performance issues).

  You could try with a lower number of generations and see when you start to get problems.That may also help to pin down a problem profile.

  You can also try to check for some problems with History Link (https://historylinktools.herokuapp.com/history) Be sure to change the options to include problem profiles en pending merges. History links searches in the other direction so it will be a bit of a lucky shot if you find the problem that way.

  Another option might be to do a gedcom export and check the result for any problems that may cause the report not to finish.

  The correct solution is for Geni to check for loops and stop the report a a loop is detected!

  There could have been other reasons, just try again.

  Firefox may give you a message that the page is delaying the processing when writing the pdf, just tell it to wait.
