When ever I add a new person to the tree it loads for eternity but when I go back to my self the profile is there were I want it

  It can take a while when it is very busy on Geni. There have been some performance problems in the past.

  If you still have the problems now, could it be you use a browser add-on that is blocking some site and/or some Javascript?

  If you can use Flash and HTML you can try to switch between the two to see if that makes any difference. If you can use multiple browsers you can see if the problem is browser specific.
