Geni is giving me matches that are wildly off of any other DNA companies I have used. They are predicting 3rd cousins, mostly from Finland or other Scandanavian sources. My DNA shows I am M-222 and ALL my patrilineal forebears are from Ireland, back deep in time. How to I inform GENI that it is using the wrong DNA?

Geni Support Team Hi John, it possible you may have linked the wrong Family Tree DNA kit to your profile. The easiest way to fix this is to delete the linked DNA from your Geni account and then re-link it to the correct kit. It is best to make sure you are logged out of Family Tree DNA before re-linking, to ensure that you will link the correct kit.
