Adding new relatives to a new tree

I’ve been trying to add relatives to my new tree. I tap on the person’s name on the tree and nothing happens.

I would appreciate this being sorted out or answer on what I need to do to be able to add people, please?

  I followed Jeff's advice (not sure who he is but is from Ge..ni) so he said add a relative then remove the parents.

  Geni will not let you delete the parentsSo here I am stuck with a new imaginary brother in law that I cannot delete

  BUT,l if you pay money GENI PRO or better then they will let you talk too help. thin

  Perhaps time to join myHeritage - I think that is what they want!?!

  There's a learning curve on Geni.  It works differently (and better) than other programs.  If you cannot sever a relationship, it usually is because one sided or the other would be severed from the big tree.  If you can first connect both sides to where they should be in the big tree, then you should be able to delete the relationship under the Relationship tab (when you click Edit on a profile).  It may not work when you are following the conflict resolution process.  You need to Edit Relationships.

  P.P.S. You can create a new branch by selecting Create aa Branch under the Research Tab at the top of your Geni screen.
