But I mean, in this pedigree view (fig1+fig2) it offers an opportunity to set numbers of ancestors, but those don´t work. This is more usability case like misleading. OR is this explained / clarified clearly somewhere? Because so many to wonder this. My opinion is, that view is more useful.
It is really confusing to see an option to adjust pedigree view which does not work! I would very much like to be able to increase/decrease the number of generations also in the pedigree.
Hi Kari, thank you for clarifying your comments. The pedigree view only displays four generations of ancestors and it cannot be adjusted. We will fix the Tree Preferences tab in this view.

Proposal, if you need to keep this pedigree view "in locked", is it possible that pedigree view is a little bit bigger, example 1+6 (now 1+4)? Family trees are so big nowadays.
