Deceased profile manager not updated on Geni

Good afternoon

I am just a basic Geni user and new to it all. I chose this platform because my cousin, who passed away in 2021, already started on it and most of my family details on my father's side has been entered. I have contacted his widow and parents and none of them know how to gain access to his account. I have requested merges, but no one can access the profile to make the merges happen. Is it possible for his profile management to be transferred to me? He made a couple of minor name spelling errors that I would like to fix. I would much appreciate any help in this regard.

  Hi Suzel, we're sorry to hear about your cousin's passing. You may report his account as Deceased by clicking on the Actions button on his account and selecting "Report." In the dropdown, choose "Deceased" and in the comments section, please enter your request to manage his profiles. Once our customer service team reviews the report, they will be able to assist with unclaiming the account and transferring management to you.

  We also helped complete a merge on a public profile you requested. You should now be able to complete the remaining merges in the tree. Note if a relative has claimed their account with their email address, then only they will be able to complete the merge on their own profile.
