Hello, I have created two family trees (one for my wife and one for me) in the one Geni Pro account. The issue is that when I view Statistics ancestor and click my wife's ancestors on a random ancestors dating back approximately four centuries and beyond. It will say it is my wife's XX Grandfather but when I click on Blood relative/in-law relationship it will relate back to me not my wife. I have also linked my wife's parent's DNA to the family tree and any DNA matches with their names is relating back to me not my wife. Can you please help with this issue? Thank you Chris

Job Waterreus As soon as you connect a profile to the Geni World Tree you cannot really speak over "My Tree" anymore. You could share ancestors with your wife. You have also take into account that any tree conflict for an ancestor can mean that Geni will calculate a wrong connection. Also indexes take some time to be updated, so recently updated / created profiles may take some time to be visible in the path calculation. You could try to calculate a path in multiple steps.
For finding profiles with conflicts you could try Historylink (see https://historylinktools.herokuapp.com/)

Geni Support Team Hi Chris, we see that your wife's profile does not have DNA connected to it, however your profile does. If you have accidentally connected your wife's DNA results to your profile, then we suggest you disconnect the results from your profile and reconnect them to your wife's profile. See our FAQ: https://help.geni.com/hc/en-us/articles/229707747-What-if-I-ve-linked-a-Family-Tree-DNA-kit-to-the-wrong-profile-
As for the relationship paths, by default, we will search for the closest relationship between you and the other profile. If you would like to see the relationship path with your wife as the focus, then you can go to her profile and click on the green pushpin at the top right. Then you can see how other profiles are related to your wife. To change the focus back to you, then you can simply click on the green pushpin again.
